So another Cali 6pack adventure....well Wednesday Night while visiting danni and lexy in American fork, we all took a stroll or actually a roll around the block. Lexy and Danni were on razor scooters and myself on a longboard...well in the middle of our rendezvous the side of my shoe snag the end of the board causing me loose my balance which lead to be jumping of the board and landing sideways on my left foot...Which then lead to the most pain by far that I have ever felt in my life...I tried to walk but pain just shot straight up my leg...I hobbled over to the curb and danni went and grabbed her car to take me back to her house.
At her house, I was just in so much pain, right away I put ice on it and decided that I really need to got get my foot checked out. So off to the ER I went...might I mention that I really hate hospitals...anyways...went to the ER and was greeted by a real nice RN who helped me the entire night. I saw a doctor and got my foot X-rayed...Then Danni and I waited another hour and a half cuse the radiologist was too busy watching the Jazz and Lakers game too look at my x-ray...
After all of that the radiologist wasn't sure whether or not my foot was broken...So they treated it like it was and form orthopedic glass around the back of my calf and all the way down underneath my foot. Then the wrapped leg and foot with Ace bandages. They gave me drug and sent me on my way..
Thursday, I spent my entire day in the same spot at the hoopes, while danni and sister hoopes took care of me...Then Thursday night I drove myself home...I'm so glad that my driving foot still functions...I've been using crutches to get around and it is unbelievably tiring and painful... I just want to walk again... I unwrapped my foot today to tighten the wrap and man my foot is still so swollen and blue...even more blue than the photo above....I go to an orthopedic doctor tomorrow to see whats happening with my foot...Hopefully that goes well.!!!
It's Better Late than never! So Lexy finally attended her Senior Prom and the Lucky man/boy who escorted is know as Adam, Danni's cousin!
Now for the amusing part. Well while chilling at the hoopes house, Lexy and I got a lead from an unnamed source *cough*-sydney- that hinted to us that there was a surprise on Lexy's car... So excited for a surprise of a life time, we ran outside and found lexy's car covered in TP. Along with the TP there was also a lime green poster included, which asked Lexy to prom...Well a portion of the note read...I've wrapped you up...but Adam forgot a letter instead wrote "rapped." Poor boy..he's fallen so much for lexy that he has forgotten to spell...JK
So on April 26th, Lexy and Adam attended the American Fork High School Prom dressed in a black attire accented by silver sparkles and Hot Pink Flowers the size of your head.
OMG!!!! I haven't writen anything in almost a month!!! I'm failing at my new blogging life!!! We'll I have a public announcment to make....*drum roll please*...So after all the pain and torcher of not getting into the photography program, there was still a glimmer of hope. Cuse apparently out of the 18 out of 104 people who got into the Program, 5 people did not even get into BYU. So the departement sent appeals to the admissions office to try to get them in. So there was potentially a chance of 5 spots that might be open... So i croseed my fingures and waited for the 3 weeks that they told me it would take to find out...
Meanwhile I decided to stay spring and take prerequisites for the advertising program. Well the 3 weeks passes and still nothing, so i sent the director of photograohy an email just to make sure that it was for sure a no so I could plan the rest of my life...
Well later that day i was kinda having a blue week so my mom told me to go shopping with my sister...So after work I made the long journey of a total of 40 mintues up the I15 to Sugarhouse and went shopping at Nordies Rack...well shopping with well got some pretty cute stuff including some amazing sunglasses...And then we went to RUBIOS...i guess i hade to live in north utah the rest of my life, I would choose sugarhouse cuse it has my essentials (rubios and shopping) even though it is right next to the U!!!
Anyways so after shopping and eating I headed back to provo...When I got home I went and got mail cuse i was expecting a letter from my mom which contained a letter from casey...anyways so i go and get the mail and i felt like i hit the jackpot cuse i got like 5 legitmate pieces of mail (I never get mail might i add), which included my letter from casey, my tax return (MONEY) and some other stuff. And then i came across a letter from the Visual of Arts Department...I was like what the heck, you already rejected me and your still sending me junk mail...
So I am already on the phone talking to my sister katrina about the horrors of being a teenager and I open the letter. As i open the letter all i see is congradulations...ladadad...you have been accepted in the Visual Arts program in the track of Photography...And all i can say is I GOT IN>>> I GOT IN...and I'm freaking out and then my sister is screaming and i hear my parents in the background screaming!!!
It was an unbelievable night I felt like I was dreaming and I still do feel like I'm in a dream...Nobody better wake me up!!! And if you do your going to have to answer to the wrath of Alisha the warrior princess!!! So i spent the rest of the night till 4 in the morning flipping around my entire life...I dropped out of one of my classes..newswritting...which i was so happy because the class was literally He**. And then I called all of my bff's which probably include you cuse this blog is for the 6pack...anyways I really couldn't sleep all that night, I was just so happy...probably the happiest I have been in along time...I am still walking around with a smile on my face...I'm so excited...well anyways....that is my crazy Thursday night of May 8th...AHHHHHHHHH i can't believe it!!! I'm in!
